As you step inside, you’ll find a spacious entryway with ample storage for coats and muddy boots—perfect after a day of exploring the surrounding woodlands. The open-plan living area exudes a warm, luxurious ambience and is fully equipped to make your stay effortless. The cosy living room is the heart of the lodge, featuring a plush corner sofa that invites you to sink in and unwind, while the vibrant glow from the log-effect electric fireplace creates a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for quiet evenings or movie nights on the smart TV.

The kitchen offers modern amenities, including a Bosch Tassimo coffee maker with a selection of coffee pods, an American-style fridge-freezer with an ice maker and filtered water dispenser, an air fryer, a microwave, and an oven. Gather around the stylish kitchen island and enjoy a complimentary bottle of prosecco, kept perfectly chilled in the wine cooler.

Or why not enjoy the prosecco in the sunken hot tub, situated on the expansive decking area and accessed through two sliding patio doors? Equipped with powerful jets and soothing LED lighting, it's the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploration, offering a tranquil and rejuvenating experience under the stars.

When it's time to rest, retreat to one of two well-furnished bedrooms. The master suite includes plush king-size bed, smart TV, a walk-in dressing room, and  large en-suite with a spacious shower. The second bedroom can be set up with a double bed, or alternatively, as twin beds, and has convenient access to a family shower room. It also has a smart TV. Both rooms provide plenty of storage, luxurious bedding, fluffy robes, slippers, and high-quality towels are also provided for your comfort.

Strolling through one of the many nature trails, you’ll enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature and why not spend some time fishing in Hollicars own lake or taking afternoon tea at Olivia’s Tea rooms. When you're ready to explore further afield, you'll find York city centre, rich in history and charm, offers a delightful mix of medieval streets, unique shops, and landmarks like York Minster, making it a must-visit destination just a short drive away.
