The lodge was beautiful, in a private setting and very clean. Just as the pictures. The lodge owners think of various extras and the prosecco in the fridge was a lovely surprise as it was our wedding anniversary. We would totally recommend.

We stayed in a beautiful lodge situated within the tranquil woodlands of Hollicarrs park. We were greeted by the helpful and friendly Lisa upon arrival and our overall stay was nothing short of fantastic. The park is local to many amenities and a day in York is a must. We have not stopped recommending to family and friends and the kids are already asking when we can return to the “amazing park with the hot tub”. Thank you so much for our stay.

A very nice and well equipped lodge, it was also very comfortable. The enjoyed sitting out on the decking decking in the pleasant surroundings. We thoroughly enjoyed the walks in the forest. Looking forward to returning.

Kingfisher lodge is beautifully presented, 2 excellent size bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The terrace was a real gem especially when visiting in summer. We got to eat Al fresco and make use of all the lovely outdoor furniture. Both villages either side of Hollicarrs have some nice local pubs and excellent restaurants, eat in a very good authentic Thai and Italian restaurant. The bus route to York also very convenient, only a few minutes walk from the main site entrance. We will definitely return.

We have stayed at Hollicarrs - Kingfisher Lodge 3 times in less than 12 months. Beautiful log cabins each one different. Peaceful, quiet and amazing surroundings. The staff are absolutely lovely, nothing is too much trouble. The Hot Tubs checked daily, spotlessly clean. The two chaps who service the hot tubs are so lovely and friendly. The log cabins are spotless. Perfect break for a completely relaxing break. Would definitely recommend a visit. Planning our next stay. One of my favourite places!

Truly a home away from home. Furnished to a very high standard. The wet room ensuite was fantastic, as my husband he needs to sit on a stool in the shower . The hot tub was awesome. The WiFi and smart TVs excellent. We had a very restful long weekend and would like to come back again.
